The Empowered to Connect Conference is a two-day conference for adoptive and foster parents, teachers, ministry leaders, and professionals designed to help them connect with children from hard places in order to facilitate healing and become all that God desires for them to be. This simulcast is an opportunity to provide the support to these families and professionals where most communities lack the experience, expertise, and the answers to those in desperate need for help and guidance. Working with many children from many different experiences can be a challenge. Let us come together and empower one another with better understanding of our kids! Deaconess Pregnancy and Adoption is thrilled to be co-hosting with Council Road Baptist Church to offer this simulcast.

Boys Ranch Town's program offers family-style living in a cottage of eight boys with a married couple serving as houseparents. Boys participate with the houseparents in making their home a safe, comfortable place to live. Their time and activities are organized to help them learn responsibility and caring in a structured living situation. The Level System is an important part of the program. Boys enter the Ranch on Level 1 and move up in level based on behavior, school, and cottage performance. Each level move brings added privileges and gives boys more freedom. Our Deacon Ministry in conjunction with our Senior Adult Ministry has an on-going partnership to minister to those that are homebound. Every week our Deacons take our Sunday worship experience to our homebound folk as well as administer the Lord’s Supper when appropriate as well as just make a friendly visit to make sure all is well for them. Our Deacon Ministry is organized by regions so that we can more effectively see our homebound folk. It is a scriptural admonition that we take to heart. For more information on our Homebound Ministry email Norman Behymer at email@example.com.
